Scandinavian Heat Club LLC ("Scandinavian Heat Club," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website scandinavianheatclub.com (the "Site") and provides guided sauna and cold plunge experiences at Barnes Tennis Center, 4490 W Point Loma Blvd, San Diego, CA 92107. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Contact details — such as your first and last name, email address, and phone number, when you join our waiting list, register interest in a membership, request a private booking, apply to work with us, or buy a session, membership, or gift card.
• Booking and purchase details — such as the sessions you book, memberships you hold, and gift cards you buy or redeem. Payments are processed by our booking provider, Momence; we do not store your full payment card details on the Site.
• Messages — anything you choose to tell us in a form (for example, details about a private event or a job application).

Information collected automatically (only with your consent)

With your consent, given through our cookie banner, we and our analytics and advertising partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information such as your device type, browser, pages visited, approximate location, and how you interact with the Site. These technologies are not activated until you click "Accept" in our cookie banner. If you decline, they stay off.

• Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager — to understand how the Site is used.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — to measure and improve our advertising.
• TikTok Pixel — to measure and improve our advertising.

The Site also stores small preferences in your browser (for example, whether you have dismissed a popup or made a cookie choice). These are strictly functional.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide our services — manage bookings, memberships, waiting lists, gift cards, and private events.
• To communicate with you — confirmations, updates about your booking or membership, replies to your enquiries, and, where permitted, news about Scandinavian Heat Club (you can opt out at any time).
• To review job applications.
• To understand and improve the Site and our marketing (with your consent, as described above).
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

3. Who We Share Information With

• Momence, Inc. — our booking, payment, and customer management platform. When you submit a form, book a session, or buy a gift card, your information is processed and stored by Momence. See Momence's privacy policy.
• Netlify — our website hosting provider, which processes some form submissions (for example, job applications).
• Analytics and advertising partners — Google, Meta, and TikTok, only if you have consented to tracking (see Section 1). Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
• Service providers and advisors — such as email, IT, legal, or accounting providers who assist our business under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities — if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety and rights of our guests, staff, or business.

4. Your Choices

• Tracking consent — you choose whether analytics and advertising technologies run, via our cookie banner. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser settings and revisit the Site; the banner will appear again.
• Marketing emails and texts — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails, by replying STOP to texts, or by contacting us.
• Browser controls — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. The Site works without non-essential cookies.
• "Do Not Track" signals — some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because tracking on our Site only runs if you accept it in our cookie banner, we do not respond separately to DNT signals.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we rely on established providers (Momence, Netlify, Google) that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Our services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to attend our sessions, and the Site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Links to Other Sites

The Site contains links to third-party sites and services (for example, Momence checkout pages, Google Maps, Instagram, and LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
